Planning Permission is not normally required
Generally speaking the
following developments are allowed without the need for Planning Permission. In
the case of domestic extensions you should look more closely at your Permitted
Development Rights.
- Patios, paths and hardstandings
- Driveways (although
be aware that new road access points do)
- Fences and Walls
- TV, Satellite and Radio
Aerials (although some rules do exist concerning siting)
- Decoration, Maintenance
and Repair
- Storage Tanks
- Temporary signs of modest
size enabling properties to be sold
