As Planning & Construction Consultants Foxdale Design are in a position to provide a wide range of services ranging from a straightforward plan drawing service where the client already has a strong idea of what is required to more involved needs such as handling listed building applications, planning appeals and construction contract management.

How we help our clients

In addition to the obvious point that we will draw up plans for proposed work, we will also try and help with the wide range of other activities that need to be thought about when embarking on a construction project.

• We can help reduce building costs, it is often the case that relatively small changes in design can have a big impact on the overall cost of a project.
  
  
• We can help consider site-specific requirements, things such as drainage and road access as well as power and sewage requirements.
  
  
• We can present your plans in a favourable way to your Local Authority, plans are often rejected due to proposals being misunderstood.
  
  
• We can help prepare the specification of the work to be done, this will make sure that when builders quote for building work, they all do so to the same specification.
  
  
• We can help prepare contract documents for building work, there are a wide range of standard contracts available which can be used to help ensure that building work is performed in the required way.
  
  
• We can help with other construction professionals, some projects will need the services of a Structural Engineer or specialist Surveyor.
  
  
  In short our mission is to help our clients to gain the maximum from their construction projects and to ensure that the highest professional standards are maintained. As Planning & Construction Consultants we are dedicated to working for you and handling the parts of the project you want us to help with. Unlike Architects we do not insist on handling the entire project. If you just want some plans drawn, that's fine. If you just want outline planning permission on a plot of land, that's fine too. You do not need to hand us an entire project - unless you want to.
